The 350S and 750S models come ready to spread a 50/50 blend of dry, free-flowing, #1 rock salt and sand; or sand only. In this application a Blaster 350 is trailer mounted.
The hoppers are made of rust-proof, high-density polyurethane…the hopper frames are powder coated with automotive style paint…the nine-inch spinners are made of stainless steel…and the electrical harnesses include watertight, marine-style connections. Here the Blaster is fitted to a Ford Ranger with a tipper body.
The spreader can be fitted to the standard 2' receiver hitch as used for the snow ploughs. Here it is attached to one of TrueGrit's Isuzu D-Max vehicles. This enables the vehicle to tow.

The Meyer Blaster 350s and 750s spreaders are the professional tailgate or trailer mounted spreaders. Easy to use and ideal for many small to large sized jobs from carparks to roads.
For driver convenience, the Blaster range quick-attaches to special mounts on your existing tow hitch or special adaptions for the tailgate. Hitches can also be provided to attach the spreader to forklift trucks, ATVs, tractors, mowers, loaders, loading beds or virtually any type of prime movers with a sufficient 12v power supply.
Powerful ½ HP Direct Drive Motor
The Blaster's unique 1/2hp, direct drive motor is rated at up to 70amps of surge power to grind through those annoying chunks of salt or sand. This direct drive system applies the torque directly to the auger. A standard vibrator system helps to keep the material free flowing. A special illuminated controller provides in cab speed variation, blast mode, auto vibrate and auto spinner stop mode. Suitable for spreading different materials.
